WELCOME TO THE ROAD TO CHELTENHAM

Welcome to The Road To Cheltenham, your indispensable guide to the series of top-class British hurdles races which culminate with the 2017 Stan James Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival in March.

The first stop on the Road to Cheltenham is the Grade 2 Elite Hurdle at Wincanton followed by the Grade 3 Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham and the Grade 1 Morgiana Hurdle at Punchestown. The Grade 1 Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle and the Grade 2 International Hurdle at Cheltenham finish off the year’s events. In 2017 our journey continues with the Grade 2 Champion Hurdle Trial at Haydock and finally, The Stan James Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham in March.
